March 2011 . Farm Fresh Eggs
Local eggs from local hens for local people. At Judy’s family farm all of our hens roost in Western Sonoma County. we feed these girls a diet which includes 100% organic flax which we grind fresh. All of our hens have access to the outdoors and enjoy large communal areas with natural ventilation and sunlight. Each of our eggs contains 225 mg of omega-3 fatty acids. The hens are always treated with the utmost compassion. Please enjoy these eggs. Thanks, Judy
You can’t beat the taste and benefits of local farm eggs delivered from farm to table.

March 2011 . Strawberries
Let’s blow this joint. Where should we go?
It’s been an incredible roller-coaster these past few weeks. Things are looking up and if the farmer’s market produce is any indicator, then this first crop of farm fresh strawberries is a sign of marvelous things to come. I’m excited that berry season is back!

March 2011 . Kombucha Brew
Oh~sahbu shabu is good. Maybe you can try spicy hot pot. We can take you to eat when you come to Taiwan.
I love our conversations, trading stories of happenings here and abroad with elements of food woven throughout our chats. Last month she wrote about the sickeningly sweet side of soda and it got me thinking about kombucha and my path to accepting and loving it.

February 2011 . Terrarium
Squeeker, squeak, squeakin’ squeak squeaky squeak…In other words… I’m nutz about you!
Spring hasn’t yet arrived, but I’ve begun to make use of my green thumb. What started out with a tiny potted succulent, now includes two basil pots and several succulent gardens. I really love creating tiny worlds inside random glass containers.

March 2011 . Gold Nugget Mandarin Oranges
They should be called “蓮霧“….I can take a picture for you.
I’ve been battling the flu off-and-on these past few months (yes months, not weeks) and found myself bundled up in bed during some of the warmest and sunniest winter days. It also meant that I’ve been unable to do my weekly farmer’s market shopping. Fortunately, I live a few blocks from a small, family run version of Whole Foods. Real Food Company is a great little store which stocks its shelves with local sourced meats and produce. Some of the local produce even comes from the same farmers who sell at the farmer’s market, including these wrinkly mandarin oranges, also know as organic gold nugget mandarins.
